About GOD GIVEN TALENT (GGT)
God Given Talent (GGT) is a Christian talent event to showcase God-given talents. Open to students grade 5 through 12 who attends public, private, or home school.
MISSION
To seek and find the future lead worshipers of the next generation to apply their God-given talents for His Glory! The talents presented must be Christian in nature.
( vocals, praise teams, instrumentalists, praise bands, Christian motivators/speakers/comedians, visual artists, anything that glorifies our Lord Jesus Christ.
SUBMIT ONLINE YOUTUBE AUDITION
Those auditioning, whether as group or as an individual, should prepare a video of 3 to 4 minutes in length. The video can be uploaded to YouTube and show your talent without AI enchantment.

10 finalists will be chosen from the videos submitted to perform live.
LIVE PERFORMANCES OF TOP 10 Friday, May 8 2026
Finalists will perform live or use a backing track. If using a backing track an mp4 version must be provided. If performing live any supporting musicians must also be in grades 5 through 12. Email your photo and backing track to godgiventalentlive@gmail.com
Winning performance will receive $500.

This year, in addition to our live competition in New Mexico,USA. We are excited to announce our new video competition available to anyone in grades 5-12 living in the United States. We will choose one winner out of three Finalists! This category will be separate from the Live final competition.
The winner of this category will be announced during the LIVE PERFORMANCE via GOD GIVEN TALENT Instagram LIVE on Friday, May 8, 2026 @7pm, MST

ONLINE AUDITION INFORMATION & GUIDELINES
For Season 8 of GGT, we will be receiving online video auditions. These can be done on your cell phone or any device capable of saving videos and uploading them to YouTube. The talent you choose to present must honor God. It may be any kind of Christian talent you may wish to share. In the past, we have had skits, vocal solos, and vocal groups, small instrumental ensembles, piano soloists, comedians, praise teams, dance, etc. Our only requirement is it must Glorify God.
- Contestants must be in 5th grade through high school (including accompanists).
- Videos must be in a well lighted setting where judges can see clearly.
- Your video must have clear audio.
- You may use a backing track if needed. Just make sure there is a good mix between you and the backing track.
- Your video must be in real time without any editing.
- No AI enhancement may be used.
- Upload your audition video to YouTube for submission.
- Your video will be due by Friday, April 17, 2026 (no exceptions)
